I had a very negative experience with Discover Cars. Purchased full coverage insurance $400+ to rent vehicle in Cancun, Mexico. Arrived at airport and discovered the insurance did not include collision. We told the rental person we didn’t want it and agreed to pay $100/day for collision. He said they are not connected to Discover Cars and just provide vehicle. I asked if I need to contact them directly and he said yes. Contacted Discover Cars for a refund and they said they only refund if you cancel insurance when renting vehicle at the airport. How were we supposed to cancel the insurance when there was no one there to talk to? DO NOT rent from this company as they cheat their customers.
