What Is a Go Fast Camper?

In short, Go Fast Campers are truck campers that are designed for quick setup and tear down. Their campers are made to be lightweight and easily transportable.

As a Montana-based company, Go Fast Campers builds wedge campers and roof tents. Their campers are designed with a race car approach to construction, which means they are lightweight and lie flat when driving to reduce drag. They also stand six inches tall, making them the perfect option for those who want the convenience of a camper without sacrificing space in their truck bed.

The tent material of Go Fast Campers’ campers is extremely durable and can withstand all types of weather conditions.

Go Fast Campers offers a variety of different camper models to fit your needs and budget. Whether you’re an experienced camper or a first-time RVer, they have a model that’s right for you. Who Started Go Fast Campers?

Go Fast Campers was started in 2017 by Wiley Davis and Graeme MacPherson.

Davis, an off-road enthusiast, would take annual trips with friends from Bozeman, Montana, to Baja, Mexico. The only problem was that getting there required a rigorous 4×4 journey. Davis didn’t want to be bogged down by a large slide-in camper, so he started thinking of ways to make the trip easier.

Later, Davis partnered with Graeme MacPherson, and together, they founded Go Fast Campers. Davis handles the design and manufacturing while MacPherson focuses on business and marketing.

The company’s goal is to provide an enjoyable and safer experience without sacrificing comfort or convenience.

Where Is Go Fast Campers Located?

Go Fast Campers takes pride in manufacturing their campers in the USA. Their headquarters and manufacturing facility is based in Belgrade, Montana, just outside of Bozeman.

Even if you don’t live near Montana, you can still order a Go Fast platform camper and have it shipped to your location. However, if you want professional installation, you’ll need to visit their Retail space in Belgrade, Montana.

How Much Are Go Fast Campers?

There are currently three different Go Fast Camper models: the Standard, XL, and 8 Footer. The Standard model is ideal for midsize trucks and starts at USD$7700, the XL model starts at USD$8200, and the 8 Footer model starts at USD$9600.

As mentioned earlier, all of the Go Fast Campers are made to be lightweight and easily transportable. In addition, buyers can customize their camper with various colors, windows, side doors, and side panels.

The Standard model has roof racks that weigh approximately 270 pounds, whereas the XL model and the 8 Footer model weigh approximately 300 pounds.

I’m originally from the bush, but I currently live in the big smoke of Sydney, Australia. I am based out of here for work, where I fly Cargo operations all over the world. I am no stranger to the open road and have previously road tripped my way all around Australia in a station wagon and a tent as I progressed from job to job building flying experience for my Aviation career. This blog is all about detailing my journey as I seek to trade my city life for Van life. Things that really attract me to Van life are the Freedom, Minimalism and Financial Independence it brings.
